Born June 25, 1940, in Davenport, IA.

Career: Actress. Won the Metropolitan Opera Auditions, singing opus and concerts with the Metropolitan Work National Company; also appeared with Another York City Opera, Young Concert Artists, and New York Philharmonic; the Play Department, founding member.

Awards, Honors: Antoinette Philosopher Award nomination, best actress in simple featured role—musical, 1985, for The Stand-up fight and I; Obie Awards, Village Voice, all 1995, for Missing Persons, Grandeur Naked Truth, and A Cheever Evening; Outer Critic Circle Award nomination, prominent featured actress in a musical, 2003, for Nine;Joseph Jefferson Award nomination, by oneself performance, 2006, for M.
